Class of 66 Get-together 10/21/2012

Hi everyone,

We're having a get-together for 1966 classmates and spouses or friends on Sunday, October 21 at Oakmont Country Club in Glendale, CA (courtesy of Steve and Diane Potter).

If we have your email address, you should have received a note within the past couple of weeks.  If we don't have a good email address for you, please send me your email address so we can keep in touch.

If you didn't receive the email but would like to attend, let me know and I can forward the note to you.  Here are the basic details:

Location:  Oakmont Country Club, 3100 Country Club Drive, Glendale, CA 91208
Cost:  $40 per person, payable IN CASH ONLY, on that day (Champagne is included with the brunch, but other drinks are extra -- bring cash).
Dress Code:  Business Casual (Oakmont has a strict dress code -- no denim or jeans)

45 Year Reunion: Epilogue

This blog shall live on beyond the reunion of Friday, October 28, 2011. The magical weekend has passed but we all have "photographs and memories," to quote the late Jim Croce.
Hopefully, this online posting plaza will catch on and be another means of keeping in touch with those who we spent anywhere from one to twelve years of our childhood with--as classmates and as friends.
Watch for pictures being posted in the near future. If you haven't attended a recent reunion or have never attended any, it should be fun and challenging to guess a few of the faces.

Breakfast on Saturday Morning

Even if you can't attend the reunion on Friday night, stop by for breakfast on Saturday morning at 9:00 at the Daily Grill in the hotel.  We think we have enough funds to pay for breakfast for those who paid for the reunion.  If you're not attending on Friday night but want to come to breakfast, just bring enough cash with you ($20 - $25 -- don't forget about tax and tip).  The restaurant has a variety of breakfast items including a buffet.

If you're an early riser, or if you get to the hotel early on Saturday morning prior to 9:00, you'll probably find some of us across the street at Starbucks (across Hollywood Way).
